- 1 cup mole sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup toasted peanuts or almonds (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. Finely chop onions and garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; brown for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden.
