- 2 large Russet potatoes (about 1.5 pounds), peeled and chopped
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a greased baking dish.
