Instructions
- Press the tofu by wrapping it in paper towels and placing a weight on top for 20 minutes.
- Cut the pressed tofu into uniform bite-sized cubes.
- Toss the cubed tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
- Reduce heat to low and pour the sauce over the fried tofu, stirring gently until well-coated (about 3-4 minutes).
