  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup hot honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In one bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, place panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg wash (optional), then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Arrange coated chicken on the baking sheet with space between pieces; lightly spray tops with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir in hot honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice until combined.
  8. Drizzle hot honey sauce over cooked chicken and let sit briefly before serving.
