  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk (for pudding)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions using eggs and milk.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then poke holes in it with a wooden spoon handle about an inch apart.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk until smooth. Pour over the holes in the cake.
