  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (17.3 ounces)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Let it cool slightly before shredding.
  3. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Roll out each puff pastry sheet on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick and cut into four squares (4×4 inches).
  5. Spoon filling onto one half of each square, fold over the other half, and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Brush each pillow with egg wash and place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
