  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and sugar until combined.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly before adding eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the melted butter mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in fresh raspberries into half of the batter.
  6. Spread half of the plain brownie batter into the prepared pan, add dollops of raspberry batter on top, then use a knife to swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool before slicing.
