Description

Marinated Flank Steak is a tender and flavorful beef dish, perfectly grilled to create a juicy centerpiece for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme), chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, honey, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Stir in chopped herbs for added flavor.
  3. Place flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it. Seal tightly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavor.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Remove steak from marinade (discard marinade) and grill each side for about 5-7 minutes or until desired doneness.
  7. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain.
