- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme), chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, honey, and black pepper until smooth.
- Stir in chopped herbs for added flavor.
- Place flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it. Seal tightly.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from marinade (discard marinade) and grill each side for about 5-7 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain.
