  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Rinse and trim the green beans.
  2. Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions (usually boil water, add rice, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes).
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Sauté diced chicken until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and honey; let sauce bubble slightly.
  6. Add green beans; cover and cook for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  7. Serve over jasmine rice, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
