- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream

- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and measuring the other components.

- In the same skillet, sauté chopped onions for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

- Lower heat and mix in heavy cream; let simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Cover and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
- Cook rice according to package instructions to serve alongside the smothered chicken.
