- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion until translucent; add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground beef; cook until browned, draining excess fat if needed.
- In a bowl, mix cooked beef with ricotta cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Fill each pasta shell with the beef mixture and arrange in the baking dish.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish, place the stuffed shells on top, then pour remaining sauce over them and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden.
