  • 1 cup colorful candies (like M&M's)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until glossy.
  3. Remove from heat; cool slightly before whisking in eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
