Description

Savor the irresistible flavors of Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread. This warm, cheesy delight is perfect for game day and cozy family gatherings, delivering comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sturdy Italian or French loaf
  • 8 oz thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 1 cup sliced sweet onions
  • 4 oz provolone cheese
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft (7–10 minutes).
  3. Add seasoned thinly sliced steak; cook until browned but juicy (about 5 minutes).
  4. Combine sautéed veggies and cooked steak in a bowl.
  5. Slice the loaf lengthwise without cutting through completely. Toast the inside under the broiler until golden brown.
  6. Layer provolone on one side and cheddar on the other inside the toasted loaf, then fill with the steak-veggie mixture.
  7. Wrap in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes to melt cheese.
